I adopted James in 2016 at a very low point in my life. I met him at a MEOW adoption event at PetSmart. He was tucked all the way back in the kennel with the saddest eyes. He had had two previous homes but had been returned both times . I had to meet him.
James came out of the kennel and had the biggest stretch. He was a big kitty. He walked over to me and climbed into my lap to sniff my face. He was so gentle and sweet. He fell backwards into my arms and started purring and air biscuiting.
I knew he was mine.
James now has brothers and a sister he adores (I call them the old married couple). He loves to sleep in his Shark bed and play with his favourite mouse toy.
James is such a lover. He’s a model cat at the vet office and schmoozes everyone he meets.
He loves belly rubs and snuggles and is the biggest cuddle bug you’ve ever met.
I’m so thankful to MEOW for allowing me to adopt him. He’s definitely the light in my life ❤️
