MEOW Foundation is largely powered by volunteers. Our incredible network of hard-working and compassionate volunteers dedicate their time in a wide variety of ways, at our Adoption Centre, MEOW Charity Thrift Shop, Regal Cat Café, and beyond.

By volunteering at MEOW Foundation, you will make a difference in the lives of MEOW cats, while also joining a passionate team of volunteers and staff. Explore our available volunteer opportunities and join MEOW in making a lasting impact on the lives of cats and the people who love them.

Volunteer at the Adoption Centre

Volunteer at MEOW Charity Thrift Shop

MEOW Volunteer Services is currently recruiting for Thrift Shop volunteers. We have the following positions open for application.

MEOW Charity Thrift Shop North, 336 41 Ave NE Unit 110
Shifts available daily, Tuesday – Sunday

  • *NEW* Shiny Specialist – If you love to make things look beautiful with a little shine and straighten, this is the position for you!
  • Donation Receiver- Morning and afternoon shifts open
  • Front of Store Attendants – Morning and Afternoon shifts open
  • Thrift Shop Cleaner – Back of store – Morning and Afternoon Shifts open

MEOW Charity Thrift Shop South, 3711 61 Ave SE

  • Front of Store attendants – Morning and afternoon shifts open
  • Donation receivers – Back of Store Morning and Afternoon shifts open.
  • Volunteer Clothing Sorters Morning and afternoon shifts open

Volunteer at Regal Cat Café

Volunteer shifts are available in 2-hour blocks from 11 am to 8 pm daily.
Help the Cafe team supervise the adoptable cats and the wonderful visitors to the Kitty Kingdom.  Complete small cleaning tasks, practice your animal observation skills and engage with visitors while sharing information about MEOW’s adoption process.

Did you know you could become a foster with MEOW? Our fosters play a key role in our foundation, ensuring that cats and kittens who need a home environment to thrive receive one, and enabling us to expand our capacity to help even more stray and abandoned cats and kittens.

Foster Homes Needed

As a foster home, you will provide a safe space and temporary care to cats in need. MEOW Foundation provides all foster homes with the necessary support and supplies to care for your foster cats or kittens.

Donate Financially

MEOW Foundation relies on the generosity of our donors to provide lifesaving care to cats in need. By making a financial donation, you will directly help fund our programs and support our mission. We gratefully accept all donations, and you will receive a tax receipt for any donation of $20 or more.
