A year has passed since we brought Louis and Cracker home from their respective foster homes and we’d just like to send you an update on the cats now known as Jem and Scout.
Both cats have turned one, but they still play, run around, wrestle and get into everything just like they did when they were kittens. They’re pretty much the same size now, although Scout just passed Jem in weight the last time we weighed them. Scout is still as chatty as ever and will sometimes carry on a conversation with herself if she feels no one is paying her enough attention. Jem is still a bit more cautious than his sister, but he is usually the first one to try new things, like escaping out the front door onto the step. They are both little rascals! They love to sit on their cat tree and watch reality TV through the patio door. They have plenty of birds, squirrels and even the occasional gopher to keep them entertained.
Here are some photos of them checking out their new toys on their respective birthdays and of them getting into mischief together.
Thank you so much for letting us adopt them. We can’t remember what life was like before them, but we’re pretty sure it was a whole lot more boring than it is now!
