They Feel Blessed to be Living With Paradise

Dear MEOW Foundation staff,

I’m happy to report that Paradise is doing well so far. We’ve had no issues with her behaviour, eating, drinking and litter box use. When she first arrived at her new home, she wasted no time in getting acquainted with the house and her new family. Paradise ate a big meal, sat on my lap and then my husband’s lap, and toured most of the house within hours of my bringing her home.

She loves cuddling and pets and has slept on a loveseat beside our bed each night. Although she knows she has her own cat bed, she sometimes likes to sleep in one of the bathroom sinks. We don’t know why she does this, but I’m sure she has her reasons :).

At one point I decided to try getting her to play with a wand toy. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much given that she is eight years old and a bit overweight, but to our surprise, she loved every second of it, was amazingly accurate with her catches, and has been tiring me out ever since with our marathon play sessions.

Paradise also enjoys sitting on the windowsill beside me as I work and watching birds and squirrels from the second floor balcony.

Paradise is loving, lively, intensely curious, and sometimes hilarious to watch. We feel so blessed to have her in our family. She is a treasure who adds value to our lives just by being herself!

Thanks!
