Our MEOW Boys

The boys have been with us for a little over a year now. We went from a no cat household, to a one cat household and then a “well, maybe he needs a friend, oh boy we can’t choose, let’s take two!” three cat household and now a four cat household! All in less than a year. We adopted Brider from friends of ours, then Ranger and Dobbie through MEOW and when Brider’s Mom (who they thought was spade between litters!) had another litter, we brought home our only girl in the mix, Snider. Dobbie was a little reluctant to accept Snider, and when our oldest son spent 5 weeks in the hospital poor Ranger was a little unsettled without his human, but we are a harmonious and happy, albeit hairy household now!

Hribnak family cats cuddlingDobbie (MEOW Name Jaimeson) is the grey, Ranger (MEOW Name Argyle) is the tabby and white, and Brider is the tabby. All cuddled together on a chair. They are a cuddly group of loving boys!

All four cats love meal time and are very vocal if I dare be late with their dinner. 7am and 6pm are meal times, weekday and weekend. Here is Dobbie and Ranger, with Snider tucked in the middle, on the top “floor” of the cat stand my Husband built them. Brider prefers to eat on the “floor below”, more elbow room I guess!

We really do adore our MEOW boys and are so glad to have them in our lives. Thank you for giving the boys a great start and giving us the opportunity to meet two of our fur-family members.

(All four cats are named after Calgary Roughneck players – Andrew McBride, Dane Dobbie, Scott Ranger and Geoff Snider).

The furry Hribnak family!
