Lynuss’ Story

My journey began in September 2024 when my six littermates and I arrived at MEOW Foundation, after a transfer from one of our wonderful partners, Canadian Animal Task Force. All of us felt pretty awful with sniffly noses and watery eyes. But even among my siblings, I was a little different—my back legs didn’t work like theirs. They were bent and wouldn’t straighten at all. Still, I didn’t let that stop me! I found my own way to get around, hopping and exploring the world on my terms. The kind humans at MEOW suspected I was born this way, but they never treated me like I was any less special.

Even though my legs worked differently, I was happy in my foster home. I played, purred, and soaked up all the love I could get. But when I was about five months old, my MEOW friends took me to a special doctor to see if they could make moving around a little easier for me. The doctor said my knees weren’t where they were supposed to be, and the bones in my back legs were twisted. It sounded complicated, but the doctor was sure that with some careful surgeries, I could have an even better, more comfortable life.

Now, I’m halfway through my journey. My first leg has been fixed—the doctors shortened my bones and moved my kneecap to where it belongs. And guess what? I can already move so much better! It’s amazing what a little love and care can do.

But I know I’m not the only cat who needs help. MEOW Foundation saves cats like me every single day. Whether it’s medical care, warm beds, or finding forever homes, they do everything they can to give cats like me a second chance. But they can’t do it alone—they need kind-hearted humans like you to make it all possible.

Will you help MEOW continue their life-saving work? Your donation provides medical treatment, food, shelter, and love to cats who need it most. No gift is too small—every bit of kindness adds up to something big.

Please visit meowfoundation.com or return the enclosed form with your generous gift. Together, we can help more cats like me get the care and love they deserve.

From all of us at MEOW Foundation—and from me, Lynuss—thank you for believing in second chances. Your kindness truly changes lives.

With gratitude and purrs,

Lynuss (and all my furry friends at MEOW Foundation!) 💙 💚 🤍
