Dalton’s Second Chance

Dearest Supporter,

My name’s Dalton. I’ve got a permanently grumpy face, a missing tail, and a story that almost didn’t have a second chance.

Back in May, I was just another stray, wandering the neighbourhood, hungry and hurting. I didn’t bother anyone — but people noticed me. Soon enough, humans started leaving food, and as much as I tried to act tough, I couldn’t resist. One day, I went back for breakfast and found myself trapped and brought inside.

That’s when things got serious. My old tail injury wasn’t healing. It hurt every time I used the washroom, and I was scared. The vet said the only way to help me was surgery. It wasn’t easy, but it gave me a chance to live without pain.

After surgery, I moved into MEOW Foundation’s Adoption Centre. At first, I hissed and growled at everyone. I didn’t want to trust them. But no matter how cranky I was, the team never gave up on me. They cared for me, fed me, and loved me back to health. Slowly, I learned to let my guard down.

Today, I may still look grumpy, but inside I’m grateful — because MEOW Foundation gave me the second chance, I never thought I’d have.

But here’s the truth: they couldn’t have done it without kind people like you.

Will you help MEOW save another cat like me? Your donation makes it possible to rescue strays who are hungry, hurting, and out of options. Every gift means food, safety and healing for a cat who deserves a future.

Please visit the donation link to donate today. Because there are more cats like me — stubborn, scrappy and silently hoping someone will care enough to help.

From all of us at MEOW — and from me, Dalton — thank you for believing in second chances, even for the grumps.

Sincerely,

Dalton (and the MEOW Foundation Team)

P.S. I may have lost my tail, but I didn’t lose my second chance — thanks to donors like you. Please give today so another cat like me can find safety and love.
