'Oh learned one and bard of cats - Meet Shakespeare! Neighbourhood guy and father to many, Shakespeare was finally trapped after 4 years of attempts. And what a timely capture! Bites, wounds, lacerations, abscesses, bad teeth, an entropian eye and last but not least, this fellow is FIV positive.

Due to Shakespeare's long time on the streets and probably from a past territorial skirmish, he has contracted FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Please do not be afraid of adopting Shakespeare. Cats with FIV can live long uneventful lives with normal attentive care.

We are so pleased to be able to give Shakespeare a new lease on life, freedom from pain and something he may never have known - a forever home. Once he was so afraid of people he would lunge if staff got too close, now he leans into pets and can even occasionally be found on a lap. He is still frightened of sudden movements and loud noises, so this senior fellow would prefer a home without small children.
