Harlee is a energetic and fun boy! He will grow into a big cat who is full of personality. He has the biggest purrs that can be heard across your house! Harlee will make sure he lets you know when he is not happy with the speed of food service, your too long absence, and if butt scratches are required. Favorite thing to do is chase the laser pointer where he will perform leaps and bounds as if he were part of Cirque de Soleil. Harlee will need some patience and understanding getting to know you as he is not good with strangers. Once he has earned your trust you will be rewarded with plenty of fun. Harlee also needs a buddy to hang out with that will help him with his confidence.
I need to tell you a little about my health history. One of my three littermates was feeling a bit ill so he was tested for Feline Leukemia. He tested positive and then negative. Odd - right?
Feline Leukemia is hard to understand. Tests can sometimes be false negative or false positive because this sneaky virus can go into regression and hide in the bone marrow. That means some cats will test positive and negative for their entire life. If a cat has progressive Leukemia, which could lead to illness and death, the tests will always be positive.
Here is the good news. I have been tested two times over 8 weeks and all my tests were negative. MEOW says they cannot say for 100% that I will always be negative, but it is very promising.
After all the stress of testing and waiting, I am ready to go Home 4 the Holidays.
