Meet Arwyl!Arwly's motto is not to look back as he is not heading that way! With his rugged good looks and endearing personality, he has charmed all the staff and volunteers. Even if you just have a few minutes to chat with him, his toe beans get right to work kneading his bed.
Arwyl was previously diagnosed with diabetes, but he is now in remission.Did you know that diabetes is much more common in males? After a few weeks of insulin injections, he is now in remission and no longer needs injections.
However, diabetes can reoccur, so we strongly recommend keeping him on a diabetic management prescription diet which is readily available at veterinary clinics. If the diabetes reoccurs, you would need to mange it with twice daily insulin injections.
